Since I'm 36 weeks along now I've come to the point in my pregnancy when if I sit down for more than 10-15 minutes at a time in most chairs it causes my feet and ankles to swell to a painful degree. This is considered normal, so no worries there, it just feels like most of my socks are made out of rubber bands and they leave "phantom" pain in their wake. So because of this I'm going to be going on a hiatus (with the exception of a short comic in the future), and I'm not sure when exactly I will be able to work again. It all depends on how the labor and healing goes, but hopefully it won't be too long. I hope in late January or early February I might be able to devote some time to drawing, but I can't make any promises. Babies require a lot of attention and care.

Here's an update for ya! In regards to having a daughter in December and the Starfire/Catwoman relaunch debate going on I wrote a new article in the Personal Thoughts section. It is about my fears and trepidation with raising a girl in the current sociological environment.

Since I've been able to work on ST more consistently I have made a lot of progress with it. I hope to have it done within the next year or so barring unforeseen difficulties. I am currently using my personal work days (ones meant for my projects vs Ravyn's or Jack's) to work on CA, but also to write two books. Hopefully they will soon be publishable, because I think they're interesting and worth it. But then again I'm very biased, haha.

Another Saboten Con has come and gone and I hope all that attended had a blast. I hope to come back one year, but when I don't exactly know.

And last: Tomorrow's my birthday~! Haha, I'll be 28! I bought myself a present, just something small, the first volume of the Sailor Moon reprint and Codename Sailor V.

In other news Joey and I are expecting our first child in December. I never knew how tired you could be from growing a baby...I'm so behind on my work schedule because of all the naps I've had to take but thankfully things are getting better as I enter the second trimester. So hooray for that.

One of my favorite directors, an inspiration to creative people no matter where you come from, passed away on August 24th, 2010 from pancreatic cancer. Satoshi Kon, director of Paprika, Perfect Blue and many others will be missed. I hope that he, his family, and survivors find peace.
